A new digital publication, called Penguin, will debut in Australia next week.

The magazine will feature photography from around the world, including the UK and Germany, and be available in a variety of formats, including print, on-demand and mobile.

Penguins editor-in-chief Nick Malyon said the magazine would be launched on March 5th in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, which he described as the city’s most important cultural hub.

He said it would be available on the Penguin website, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts.

“We’re going to launch it on March 6th, and it’s going to be available to all of our users around the country, and we’ve got some great stuff in the pipeline,” he said.

“The world is a really big place, so we’re hoping to have a pretty good platform to showcase the talent that we’re seeing all over the world.”

Mr Malyons digital magazine will be available for $9.99.

The launch of Penguin comes after news of a deal struck between Penguin, publisher HarperCollins and New York-based publishing house Penguin Random House to publish a collection of short stories.
